The Group’s Plant Operations division has strong competencies in blasting and coating diverse array of steel products, thanks to our advanced and wide-ranging processes. Customers of this division hail from a multitude of industries, including marine, oil and gas, steel distribution and construction.
We currently operate two corrosion prevention plants under this division. Our plant situated at 81 Tuas South Street 5 is one of the largest in Singapore with total floor space of 20,000 square metres (sq m) and fully equipped with auto-blasting equipment for plates and profiles, as well as manual blasting chambers. To enhance our service delivery and further reinforce our leading market position, the Group increased our capacity in July 2008 by commencing operations at a second corrosion prevention plant.
We take pride in the high efficiency of our operations which has enabled See Hup Seng to stay ahead of the competition. We focus on delivering best-in-class services to our customers in the fastest turnaround time, while minimizing any downtime in our operations.
Our equipment is well-maintained and efficient. Moreover, we have first-hand access to the latest corrosion prevention technologies through our trading arm, Lesoon Group which designs and supplies blasting and painting systems. By keeping ourselves up-to-date with technology, we are better placed to improve our service offering to customers.
Our auto-blasting machines can blast profiles of all shapes and plates. For metal components or steel structures that are too large or do not fit into our auto-blasting equipment, we are able to provide manual blasting in our enclosed chambers which have floor areas of 128 sq m, 72 sq m, 182 sq m and 439 sq m respectively.
